Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a type of artificial insemination procedure for treating infertility. A bolus of washed sperms is placed in the uterus directly, bypassing the vaginal acidity and cervical hostility. This allows safe and quick access of sperm to ova in the ampullary part of the oviduct. It is an assisted conception treatment method that can be used for alleviation of infertility in certain groups of patients.
